Attorney Nina Korkis Taweel specializes in business litigation and personal injury in state and federal courts. She has a proven track record as a tough litigator in both the public and private sectors, including business disputes, personal injury, and civil rights cases.

Nina has obtained numerous high-dollar settlements and verdicts for her clients throughout Michigan, including Wayne County, Oakland County, Macomb County and Washtenaw County. She also helps clients with obtaining injunctive relief as to non-compete agreements and theft of trade secrets.

Educational Background

In 1998, Nina graduated Summa Cum Laude with degrees in political science and history from the University of Detroit Mercy. In 2001, she went on to earn her Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.

Nina has expertise in both state and federal courts. She worked as an assistant prosecuting attorney in Wayne County. Nina tried numerous felony cases as an assistant prosecuting attorney, including murder, manslaughter, rape, armed robbery, and drug-related issues.

As an assistant corporate counsel, Nina defended Wayne County against constitutional violations in state and federal courts while working as an assistant corporation counsel.

Nina has also handled complex product liability lawsuits for domestic and foreign automotive manufacturers at a nationwide law firm.
